Matt Pawana, al secolo Mattia Pavanetto, nasce nel lontano Ottobre 1984 a Jesolo Beach (Venezia – Italia). Muove i primi passi nel rap all’età di 11anni grazie al cugino. Nel 1997 crea il gruppo “NADATUNZ” -tra Treviso e Venezia- con la collaborazione di C.C., Mur-Ha, Kalèb, Lexoos e altri sedici membri. Le prime produzioni risalgono al 1998. Nel 1999 escono due “demotapes” auto-prodotte. Nello stesso anno conosce Incro Mc (da Brescia) e Skyzado aka BullDog –ora El Diablo- (da Salerno –esci presto di prigione uomo!!). Con questi crea un gruppo dal nome “ConFineNotturno” che -oltre a produrre svariati pezzi- parteciperà a concerti in tutta Italia. Nel 2000 -circa- conosce la BUSKrew (da Amburgo e Berlino), gruppo composto da sette “beatmakers” che insegnerà a Matt tutto sul “beatmaking”. Il 2001 è segnato dall’incontro con Sir Krom (da Napoli), mc con molta esperienza dalla rima ironica e intellettualmente invincibile! Tra Krom e Matt nasce subito un feeling rima-beat che promette bene. Nel 2004 creano un pezzo (dal titolo “Rima dopo rima”) che sbanca tutto alla prima edizione di “MC URBAN MUSIC KONTEST”, il duo apre il concerto a Jeru da Damaja (noto rapper newyorkese). Si aggiudicano il primo premio con oltre 90.000 voti ((vedi GROOVE MAGAZINE n# 16, pag.30)). Il pezzo verrà pure inserito su un cd che farà il giro di tutta Italia ((ascolta GROOVE MAGAZINE n# 19, sampler)), verrà poi mixato in Florida (USA) e porterà il duo ad essere notato da Hans F., famoso talent-scout originario di Germania. Questo evento inoltra Matt in svariati concerti e ad essere vestito da una delle più note marche americane di street-wear, nonché a presentare la canzone vincitrice alla seconda edizione di MUMK -comparendo sul palco giusto prima del concerto di Kurtis Blow (noto rapper)-. Nel 2006 conosce DoubleX aka Dos Equis ed inizia una collaborazione con molti personaggi texani: Ese Loc (Latin Embassy), Ekzile + InfoRed + Nucleus + Malex & Blaze Won (Hypnotic Tunez) –grazie per il Jaguar ragazzi!-, Molek-Ular + WordLife + Gramatik, Headcarck the Gat, Dj Nemeses, Pancho TNT… L’album ufficiale –dal titolo:THESE BEATS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN’! (ironicamente ripreso dalla famosissima canzone: “these boots are made for walking”)- uscirà solo nel 2008. Ascoltatelo, basta acquistare GROOVE MAGAZINE n# 41! Il sampler contiene l’album completo! Nel 2007 partecipa alla terza edizione di “MC URBAN MUSIC KONTEST”, con ben tre brani su sette dei totali. I featuring, che vedono Matt alle produzioni, sono con i BPS Click da Bologna, i Testimoni dell’Aldilà da Pistoia e i ClasseA da Milano.. e sono proprio questi ultimi a vincere con ben 4250 voti e il 53% delle preferenze dopo aver aperto assieme i restanti il concerto agli Slum Village (Detroit)! Il pezzo è “Fai vedere se hai la fotta” ed è stato registrato nello studio di Bassi Maestro, rispetto! E tenetevi forte, perché Blind Minded (dj/dnb producer) e Matt stanno preparando una bomba... Il prodotto è quasi pronto e lo Studio 68, della BeatShit Recordz, ne ha già pagato le conseguenze.. Boom!!!

Matt Pawana born Mattia Pavanetto in October 1984 in Jesolo Beach (Venice – Italy), fell in love with the sound of Hip Hop from the age of 11. In the 1997 he formed the rap group ‘NADATUNZ’ consisting of MCs Treviso and Venice, and the contributions of C.Camacho (R.I.P.), Mur-Ha, Kalèb, Lexoos and several other members. They began recording in 1998 and after much hard work Pawana released released their first two self-produced demo tapes in 1999. In the same year he met Incro Mc (from Brescia) and Skyzado aka El Diablo, who had just been released from a lengthy jail term. With these 2 hungry MCs Pawana formed a 2nd group by the name of ‘ConFineNotturno’ that produced many songs and had taken part in many concerts throughout Italy. In 2000 he was fortunate to meet the Berlin crew BUSKrew. A group composed by seven beatmakers who would eventually help enhance Pawana’s beatmaking skills. A year later he had an inspirational meeting with Sir Krom (from Naples), an MC with a ton of experience and an incredible flow packed with intelligence and wit. In no time at all Krom and Pawana formed a powerful Rhyme slaying/beat chopping tag-team. 3 years later in 2004 they released a cut titled ‘Rima dopo rima’, that won them first place in the first edition of the MC URBAN MUSIC KONTEST after receiving 90,000 votes from Groove Magazine (issue 16, page 30). This led to them opening up for the legendary Jeru da Damaja, of Gang Starr fame. The track was featured in the 19th issue of Groove Magazine on a CD sampler. This would circulate throughout Italy and led to a connection with a famous talent-scout from Germany by the name of Hans F. This event got Pawana placed on the line ups of many concerts across Europe (including Leeds, Bordeaux, San Sebastian, Hamburg and Berlin), and a clothing endorsement by US urban clothing line PellePelle. Due to the continued popularity of ‘Rima’ they would open up for hip hop pioneer Kurtis Blow in 2005 for the 2nd edition of MUMK. In 2007 he was entered for the third edition of MUMK with three tracks featured out of seven finalists; BPS Click (bologna), Testimoni dell'aldilà (pistoia) and Classe A (milan). He won with a total of 4250 votes and 53%. The track "Fai vedere se hai la fotta" was recorded and mixed by Bassi Maestro. Back in 2006 he connected with DoubleX aka Dos Equis and started a collaboration with many people from Dallas Fort-Worth, Texas: Ese Loc (Latin Embassy), Ekzile + InfoRed + Nucleus + Malex & Blaze Won (Hypnotic Tunez) (thanks for the Jaguar bros!), Molek-Ular + WordLife + Gramatik, Headkrack the Gat, Dj Nemeses, Pancho TNT, the big Marco Polo, E Wize, Tahiti and Chucky Sly! The end result was the album: THESE BEATS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN (ironically remake of the song: “these boots are made for walking”), scheduled for release in March 2008. His collaboration with Jaywork and Universal Music has also been featured GROOVE MAGAZINE (issue 41). October 2008 is touched by the first worldwide release of Matt Pawana under the character of Dj - selector : "Y'ALL SO STUPID". It's a mixtape coming from the project called "aka Jesolo Beach King" ( rapresentig the roots of an era for many east enders ); 50 tracks of pure dopamine mixed in a single cd, which is going to be out for free on his 24th birthday (10/10/2008) as a gift for all the adepts around the block. The all lot sees mcs like J Vis (superb MC from Messina part of the Beatshit Squadd from 2006, and attached on every project that the Beatshit does) and special international guests like Marco Polo, King III, Tahiti & Awar. What's more there are 2 new babies coming out under BEATSHIT REC. in 2009 : BEASH_IT & BEAT_US_HIT. Those two labels are the result of a contract with Jaywork sas which will cover respectevitely Italian Hip hop & Uk, Canada and USA. En 1997 il constitue le groupe musical " NADATUNZ" – entre Treviso et Venise – avec la collaboration de C.Camacho, Mur-ha, Kalèb, Lexoos et autres seize membres. Le 2001 est marqué par le rencontre avec Sir Krom (de Naples), "mc" avec beaucoup d’expérience de la rime ironique et intellectuellement invincible ! Entre Matt et Krom naît tout de suite une lien rime beat qui promet bien. En 2004 ils créent une pièce dont le titre est "Rima dopo Rima" (Rime après Rime) qui a un grand succès à la première édition d’un concours musical le "Mc Urban Music Kontest". Le "duo" œuvre le concert à Jeru de Damaja (qui est à New York est un rapper célèbre). Matt et Krom reportent la première place avec plus de 90.000 votes ( voyez GROOVE MAGAZINE n# 16, pag.30). La pièce sera aussi intégrée dans un CD qui fera le tour de tout Italie ( écoutez GROOVE MAGAZINE n # 19, sampler). La pièce sera mixée en Floride (USA) et le "duo" sera remarqué de Hans F., découvreur allemand des talents. Cet événement amène Matt dans plusieurs concerts de sorte qu’il présentera sa chanson vainqueur à la deuxième édition du M.U.M.K. au debout du concert de Kurtis Blow (rapper célèbre). Matt a été choisi,aussi, comme sponsor par une des marques américaines les plus célèbre de street-wear. Con ellos formo el grupo 'ConFineNotturno' que lanzo muchas canciones y participaron en muchos conciertos en toda Itlaia. En 2000 conocio al grupo BUSKrew (de Berlin) . El grupo consiste de siete 'beatmakers' (poductores) que le ayudaron a Matt mejorar sus habilidades de produccion. En 2001 conocio Sir Krom (de Nápoles), un raperro com mucho experiencia y con un estilo de rima ironico y tambien invincible intelectualmente. Entre Matt y Krom fue formado un super grupo de rimas y productores de musica! En 2004, lanzaron el cancione 'Rima Dopo Rima' (Rima Despues de Rima) en primer edicion del MC Urban Music Kontest, presentado por Goove Magazine (no 16, pagina 30), y ganaron con mas de 90,000 votos. Con ganar, le direon la oportunidad al duo de abrir un concierto con Jeru Da Damaja (un raperro famoso de Nueva York). La cancion fue incluido en un compilación de Groove Magazine(no 19) que fue mezclado en Florida (E.U.). El disco fue distribuido a través de Italia entera. Matt fue contactado por Hans F., el famoso agente de talento de Alemania. Ya despues Matt y su grupo participaron en varios conciertos en cuidades sobre toda Europa, incluiendo Leeds, Bourdeaux, San Sebastian, Hamburg, y Berlin. Matt fue patrocinado por la famosa compania de E.U. ropa urbana, Pelle Pelle. Ganaron la secunda edicion de MUMK y participaron en un concierto que incluio el raperro famoso de Nueva York, Kurtis Blow. En 2006 se conecto con Double X (Doble Equis) y comenzó un colaboración con varios artisitas en Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas: Ese Loc (Latin Embassy); Ekzile, Info-Red, Nucleus, Malex, y Blaze Won (Hypnotic Tunez) Gracias por Jaguares, carnales!; Molek Ular, Word Life, Grmatik, HeadKrack the Gat, DJ Nemeses, Pancho TNT, Big Marco Polo, E Wize, Tahiti, y Chucky Sly. Estos artistas son parte del nuevo disco producido por Matt, 'The Beats Are Made for Walking' (un titulo ironicamente similar a la cancion 'These Boots Are Made for Walking' por Nancy Sinatra). En 2007 Matt participo por tercer vez en MUMK y tres de sus canciones fueron incluidos en el nuevo disco, siete canciones en total. Sus canciones ganaron por la tercer vez con mas de 53% de todos los votos. Raperos BPS Click (Bologna), Testimoni Dell'aldilà (Pistoia) y Classe A (Milan) son los artistas oídos en estas canciones. La cancion 'Fai Vedere se Hai la Fotta' fue grabado y mezclado por Bassi Maestro.
